Faculty of Law and Political Sciences

Conducting basic and applied research is part of the development chain of countries, which takes place in universities. In this direction, the Research Vice-Chancellor provides material and spiritual assistance in the direction of capacity building and by promoting the ethics of research and providing a suitable platform in the direction of expanding the research needed by the country.

Some of the most important areas of research assistantship include the following:

• Calculating and applying points for the research activities of academic staff members (articles, books and projects)
• Concluding the internal contract with the executors of research projects and following up related financial and non-financial matters in appropriate cases
• Calculation of professors' grants and administrative follow-up of their payments
• Assisting in holding domestic and international scientific conferences and meetings
• Reviewing postdoctoral requests
• Assisting in the implementation of student theses and the plan of the elite national foundation of graduate students
• Assisting and advising faculty members to obtain application plans concluded with outside the university and follow up on administrative and financial matters until the conclusion of the contract.
• Cooperation with institutes and research centers of the faculty in line with the development of research
• Cooperation and advice to the faculty journals in order to improve the position of the journals in the country and abroad
• Advising faculty members in choosing appropriate domestic and foreign scientific journals to submit articles
• Help to promote research ethics and intellectual property rights
• Informing university research programs to faculty members
