Faculty of Mining Engineering

While the economic benefits of mining are clearly recognized in Iran, concern about the impact of mining on the natural environment has increased in recent years. "Mining Environment" is the new University major in Mining Engineering that have these responsibility to prepare experts for mining industries and organizations related to mining activities that have appropriate knowledge for managing environmental impacts of Mine productions.

Towards this end the university should implement a suite of pragmatic environmental courses, which aims to secure an expanding future for the mining industry in the context of sustainable development. Also as a graduated students in these field, the students should gain these ability to research and find new ways and new technologies in these major and implement these methods for these aim the  increasing the level of environmental protection in Mining industries and control the amount of produced pollutions and decrease the harmful environmental impacts of them.
