Notice to Students and Esteemed Members of the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies:

This is to inform all students and respected faculty members that, in light of the efforts and continuous follow-up of the Vice Chancellor for Education, as well as the sustained and diligent work of the respected heads of departments and faculty members, the course syllabi at various academic levels have been revised as outlined below, effective from the year 1401 (2022–2023), and are currently being implemented in the faculty’s academic program.

Students are kindly requested to pay close attention to the following points: since some courses have been revised in title and content, the previously offered versions of these courses will no longer be presented. As a result, the course codes may differ from those listed in your equivalency transcript (depending on the academic term). Students who have not previously taken these courses, or who have received a failing grade in them, will encounter a system message stating “Enrollment in a course outside the approved syllabus.”

Procedure:
Students must submit a written request to the respected Head of the Department. After obtaining their approval for enrolling in a substitute course, students should present this approval to the academic expert and register a request for permission to enroll in a course outside the syllabus in the Academic Requests System using code numbers (13-34-36). After receiving system approval, the written consent of the Head of the Department must again be submitted to the academic expert so that, upon confirmation, course enrollment becomes possible.

Given that courses are defined in the Integrated Education System at least two weeks prior to the course registration period, students are kindly requested to obtain the required permissions before the unit selection period begins. The Office of Education will not approve any requests in the Integrated Education System without the written consent of the respected Head of the Department.

Uploading the approval of the Head of the Department to the student’s electronic file is considered one of the essential documents at the time of graduation.
