Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies

The Office of Student and Cultural Affairs comprises three divisions: Student Affairs, Cultural Affairs, and the Counseling Center, all of which operate under the supervision of the Vice President for Student and Cultural Affairs.

Cultural Affairs

1. Organizing meetings of the Cultural Council.

2. Coordinating the activities of student organizations (management and coordination of Scientific Associations and student clubs).

3. Organizing ceremonies and special occasions at the faculty and announcing them through posters or banners.

4. Coordinating the organization of congregational prayer programs and cultural activities of the faculty prayer hall.

5. Preparing reports and submitting all activities to the university.

6. Participating in meetings of the University Cultural Vice Presidents’ Council.

Student Affairs

1. Managing and handling all dormitory affairs (single, married, and temporary accommodation).

2. Managing all types of loans (student loans, emergency loans, loans for outstanding talents, housing deposits, Qard al-Hasanah Baqer al-Oloum loans, and loans for second-shift students).

3. Managing student transportation services between the dormitory and the faculty and arranging transportation for student trips.

4. Handling student insurance affairs and insurance matters related to some family members of students.

5. Completing student clearance procedures and coordinating with welfare funds for installment repayment of students’ debts.

6. Managing food services, coordinating with contractors, and procuring food supplies from the university.

7. Managing physical education affairs of the faculty, organizing intra-faculty and intra-university competitions, participating in inter-university competitions, and supervising the faculty sports hall.

8. Establishing and launching the Student Counseling Office at the faculty.

The Vice President for Student and Cultural Affairs is Dr. Asghar Ghaedan, Associate Professor and a faculty member of the Department of History and Civilization of Islamic Nations.
